hi there guys , iv just brought a rio 300, it come with a few fish which iv sold but i still have a 12 cm silver doller 14cm silver shark and a really nice huge plec id like to keep ,
i got the tank home last night but only had the old water that the fish were in on the way home ,, i had to use new water to top the tank up ,, meaning iv in theory done a 95% water change, i no its not the right thing to do but i had no choice. my plec and shark look ok but the silver doller is staying in the corner and looks like hes panting alot, ????

iv also got my bi orb 60 ltr which has 2 mollies in,a small shark n 3 neons and established water.

the idea is to get rid of the big shark and the big silver doller keep the plec and put my mollies etc into the new rio 300 tank,

basicaly does anyone want to buy a cheap big shark and s doller, if not how can i keep him alive till the water is ok as im guessin the water is no where near ready,????????
maybe a 10% water change from the biorb into the rio daily would help? dan 07908218932 reguards buyin the shark or doller

did you introduce the fish to the new water slowly or just add them in? they should be acclimatised to the new water to try and prevent any shock to them as your water will be different to the previous owners.
shame the dollars so big, i could have added him to my group but they are quite a bit smaller im affraid.... only down the road too!

hi mate , yer i left the fish in the water in a bag for a while etc ,the doller is lookin a bit better today , he is breathing as normal and just looks better in general! him and the shark are still for sale tho guys ,, i dont want a lot just would like them to pay for a few neons etc so make me an offer :good: :good: :good:
