Hello,
About a year ago I purchased a tiny cold water catfish. The folk at the shop did not mention that said fish would grow and grow and grow, and now I have a beautiful blue channel catfish who is very shortly going to outgrow the tank I have and suffer. I really don't want Mr. Whiskers (sorry!) to suffer, so would anyone take him on? Right now he is about 6-7" - he is a beautiful lil guy and very healthy right now.
I want him to go to a good home - to someone who has the space for him to grow into his full potential. I had no idea what I was buying, and yes, I have learned my lesson!
If you al don't have space for him do you know of any organisations I could approach that might take him? Sealife Centre etc?
Any help gratefully received - I'm worried about the boy!
Thanks,
Jen

PS - I'm in Edinburgh, Scotland

Jen

there is a buy, sell and swap or giveaway section might be better posting it in there?

Just thought you might get more response there....lol I used to keep cold water fish and had the same problem with the catfish...luckily I knew someone with a pond in their garden who kindly took them off my hands...it got to the point I dare not put my hand in the tank...the catfish was huge!

Try to find somebody with a pond as these fish do gorw upwards of 3feet.
