I recently got some fish from my father. We both have community tanks. He recently started having problems with a group of fish he bought (maybe 6 of them, pretty small). They were agressive and he ended up flushing a few (dont get me started
). When I saw them I thought they were some type of chiclid. I chastised him severely for buying agressive fish and then being mad that they chased his fish.
I took the largest pair since I have a tank with large fish (mainly Gouramis). Well now we both have babies which the parents are taking care of. But I cant figure out what this fish actually is. Could someone help me identify them. I need to figure out what to do with the babies and how to get my dads babies away from him. Any help would be appreciated!!
