Mr Bee
Fish Fanatic
Hi,
I have had my 7 neons in the tank for just over a week, and have put 3 male guppies in an hour or so ago.
Tank is 60L, well cycled, zero ammonia, but slightly high nitrAte, which I am going to lower with water change and Nitra-zorb.
Anyway, put the 3 guppies in and they seem happy enough, but I noticed their tails seem to quivver / shivver / ripple more or less constantly, even if they are not actually propelling themself through the water. Its like they are shaking their tail!
Is this normal??, is it because they have only just been introduced, and its all new, and they are a bit nervous and unsure of new surroundings? One of them has had 2 poo's already!
Also, should I feed them, or leave it tonight? - bear in mind neons have had one feed of daphnia this morning, so are they ok to feed again, or miss a feed, whatever is best??
Thanks in advance peeps...
