Hi, i bought a green severum last week, he got white spot so i treated and all was well, now all over one side of him he has a white tinge to him almost looks like dust and it shows up more depending on what angel you look at him, also on the same side his pectoral fin is clamping and is whiter than the other one. I'm not sure what disease this is. It doesn't look gold like velvet disease. My stats are ammonia-0, Nitrite-0, Nitrate-20, ph-7.5, temp 26c
All other fish seem fine. Any thoughts/ advice welcome.

How long did you treat for whitespot. As it's best to treat another week once spots have gone.

Any signs of flicking and rubbing, darting, erratic swimming, excess mucas, laboured breathing.

White dust on fish can be velvet.

After White spot cleared up (seven days of treatment) I did one extra dose as instruction said. He's not rubbing on anyting like when he had White spot. The White powder he's coated with on one side has cleared up a bit and is now using his fin that was clamped. I bought some velvet treatment but not used it yet as I'm treating with esha 2000. No other symptoms showing. I have moved him in to a quarantine tank.

Post back when you finished using the esha 2000 med.

Quick update. My severum is doing really well :) , White powder on his side has cleared up, his fin is no longer clamping and looks good. His colouring is a little pale but I guess that's because he's in a little quaranteen tank on his own. He's eating well so I'm hoping to move him into my big tank this week.

That's good news.
Thanks for the update.
