New Fish Has Damaged Caudal Fin...pic Included

today I had 2 Ellioti cichild delivered and one of them has a damaged caudal fin, see pic.

Will this fin grow back as normal without treatment etc?

If all the conditions in your tank are good and agression is minimal, it should heal fine on its own. You might try adding aquarium salt for a little while.

this happened to one of my platys, its as good as new now i just left it alone, didnt want to stress him out.

Make sure your water stats are spot on - plenty of water changes will help it to heal quicker.
