My filter died in my Marineland Eclipse 12 aquarium. For those not familiar with these the pump/filter is in the hood -- and it just stopped.
Has anyone put a different filter in this type of setup and if so, what did you use and how did you do it? There is only a small opening in the back for power cords. I currently have an internal Whisper filter in there running now, but it takes up a bit of space.
