My girlfriend gave me a brand new 29gallon tank that was just sitting, sealed in the garage for over 10 years. It was like opening a time capsule!
I figured I'd do something with it on the cheap and simple. I have a 75 gallon that's my main tank housing a footlong Flowerhorn.
Ended up spending over ~$100 in supplies haha.
Here's a photo of the tank, fully set up and ready to go. I used a mix of new and old stuff in storage.
Details:
- Ikea bench, reinforced with oak wood and brackets (hidden).
- LED strip light tucked under glass canopy
- Aquaclear 50
- Eheim heater
- Piece of driftwood
- Barebottom (I no longer enjoy sand)
Anyway, ideas on stock? I'm open to anything. Only caveat is that the decor must remain as is, I quite like the setup.
