Neon Tetra Tumour??

One of my neon tetras has what appears to be a tumour just above one of its eyes. It is red and raised....kinda the same colour as its red band. About the same size as its eye. I noticed this about 2 days ago.

It is eating normally, swimming normally and schooling normally....typical neon behaviour.

Is there anything I can do? Is it fatal?

I will try and get a photo if I can train it to sit at the right angle for long enough
