need helps with plants

i have a 10 gal i am setting up and was wondering if i can have a plant and a under gravel filter and if there are any small rooted or no rooted plants that would be easy to care for?

UGFs are not great so if you haven't installed one yet, I'd think again.

If you've got one already set up I can recommend some Java fern or anubias on bogwood, as that doesn't need to be rooted in the gravel. Or have some Amazon swords or crypts rooted in earthenware pots.
