Got a fish that is swimming head down, and is losing its color. Is it possible that its got a air bladder infection? We did feed it some peas in hopes that it would help it. I also suspect ICH in the tank. Thanks.

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Is the fish bloated.
Whitespot looks like the fish has been sprinkled in salt.

Fish looks bloated, and the whitespots are just little spots on the fish, nothing like being sprinkled in salt.
I have 6 guppies with 1 clown loche(i think that is the correct spelling) the tank is a 20 gallon tank. I currently don't have a way to check for ammonia and ph levels. I do know that my wife changed out the tank water today. So the levels may be way off of normal. In case this was ICH, I did ask my wife to raise the tank temp to 80F. I also fed the fish that was swimming head down some peas thinking that might help in case of a air bladder infection.

If the spots are not the size of grains of salt can you describe them in more detail.
How big are they any redness to the spots.
What colour are the spots on him.
Take a sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.

If he's bloated epson salts baths helps draw the fluids out, can you issolate the sick fish.

Sorry for the bad spelling and grammar, its 1:20am here and haven't slept much worried about my cats and fish.

I will get the numbers later on today , will ask my wife to do it.
I will also try to get a picture in just a few second of the affected fish. The spots are white, small blotchy areas with no redness.

Just tried to get a picture of the fish, but it seems to be hiding in one the tank oriments<SP>
Also we are unable to isolate the fish as we have no hospital tank, we are working on that.
I will try again later on today to get a picture of the affected fish if it hasn't passed on by then.

The white blotches are they beneath the skin.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.

Without water stats its hard to say if its a parasite as bad water quality can make them flick and rub.
Take a sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you, only pick a external parasite med up just in case.

Will do, and thanks for the help. I hope my fish can hang on tonight/morning till I can get it some help.

Get your water tested fast to see if its bad water quality causing ill health in your tank.
Then we will go from there, don't forget to get an external parasite med just in case.
