need help with my plants they look like crap

Well I just don't know what to do with my planted tank it just looks loke crap. I threw away the plants that look like poop and it looks alright now but I like to have plants and wan't more but i just seem to kill them all off(except for java furn, that stuff rocks). What should I do thank you for the help. 8)

Plants need CO2, water, light, plant food/nitrate and TLC to see them through.

I had the same problem, but luckily caught it in the nick of time. I had bought some aquatic plant food, and increased the aeration in the tanks. Water and light weren't problems for me.
