Need Help Picking Fish

Well, I'm leaning towards giving away my Angelfish, the 6 of them think my tank is the Royal Rumble. So I'm looking for 6 of the same type of fish for a 30 gallon(US) tall tank. Something that won't go nibbling on each other till they all look like abused fish.

Are loaches a good choice?
I don't want to get tetras or gouramis.

Loaches aren't the greatest for filling out a tank since they mostly reside at the bottom and clown loaches would get too big for a 30g. Ever think of say green tiger barbs or long finned rosey barbs? Sure they bicker but not to the point of chewing each other up and they have energy and colour. Or go with 6 female bettas for lots of colour, just have plenty of coverage to minimize quarreling. Or go with all females of one type of live bearer like platies. Platies have such a variety of colours and patterns and females get along great.

Keyhole cichlids are pretty cool.. you might be able to get away with 6 in a 30g tank. I'd try 4 first, and see what happens.
