Need Help On Weird Event

I just went to go look at my tank and for some reason all this stuff is floating around(i think it the dirt and crap the filter sucks up or something). Its all over floating and sticking to fake plants and the filter is covered with the stuff! Why is all this dirt stuff floating around? It's a lot floating around too.

sounds like your filter kicked out a load of it.

When was the last time you cleaned the filter?

I havent got a chance to clean the tank for a while, as i am still waiting for the chance which will be soon. The tank always looks clean and then this happened. So what should I do?

clean out the filter, and take a look at the impellor.

should be ok.

I have a problem. I couldnt clean the filter yesturday, I am going to be gone the whole day today and I might not be able to clean the filter tomorrow. Is this ok or will the fish die?

If its the white gook, then its usually just come loose from the filter pipes.
