so today i was really glad that i forgot my gym bag at home and had to run home to get it during my lunch. the tubing that connects from my co2 tank to the diffuser had come loose and i was getting massive ammount of co2 pumped into the tank! my parrots were on the far side from the diffuser laying on the gravel and the rest were in one of the caves, everyone was gasping.

so if i hadn't run home for lunch, i would have had a tank full of dead fish when i came home from work. now i've much more securely attached the tubing and will be watching it closely. beware of the dangers of co2!

Few, lucky, i wish my house was not far from my uni.

Atleast u saved them longhorn.

i know, i felt so bad when they were all laying on the gravel gasping for air. i know it's kind of silly, but i was worried they would have brain damage from lack of o2 and would forget who i am...

Whew, close call there. Glad that you caught it in time and that your fish a doing better now. :)
You're a hero to your fish! :hooray:

well, they all seem fine...no lasting effects, at least none that i can tell. i can just tell you, i would have been heartbroken if i got home and they had all died

thanks for all your support
