PH 7.8
ammonia: 0.1
nitrite: 0.1
nitrate: 20
phospate: 5.0
GH: 230
DH: 230? is this right if so does this mean my tank is super hard?
KH: over 100
is my water quality good or bad and is it hard or soft and is it suitable for keyholes? i know rams are out of the question

also are there any fish that thrive in these conditions not malawi or tangikya

Ph of 7.8 is ok for Keyholes, and Nitrates of 20 isn't too bad. Your problem is Ammonia and NitrIte, these should ALWAYS be at 0. Is your tank cycled ? How long has it been running for and what inhabitants do you have ?

my tank has been running for a year it is fully cycled my stock is 5 harlequins 3 platys 1 bristlenose 2 cories i am moving to a 48 gallon soon which is why i have a low number of fish. also the readings were a bit of a guess on the ammonia and nitrite its more like 0.04 rather than 0.1 but this is because i recently changed some of my biological filter media. also is the dh right? i think that is 230ppm as otherwise its of the scale hard i presume it must be a dh of 13 yes? and will a phosspate sponge reduce my ridiculously high phosphate?
