hi im gonna change my 14 g tank and make it much more modern. Im gonna put in white sand and i thinks of getting rid of my bogwood. Alls i really want to know is what sorta fish would you recomend that are bright , colourful not HUUUUGE and relatively cheap? currently i have 3 cory's , 4 harlequins and 2 zebra danios and 2 leopard danios

Are you asking for fish that could go with the ones you already have?

That's important info that we would have to know before making any real suggestions.

yerp i spose ones that could go with these ones possibly for only a short time though. I might give a few back to the FS as they are breeding like crazy and i cant support it. so spose welcome to any fish.

Considering all the fish you have are community fish and shoaling fish, your best route would be more of the same as you really dont have enough of each to class as a shoal.

id probably add...

2 more Harlequins, 4 more Zebra Danios and 4 Leopard Danios that would yive you 6 of each making 3 nice little shoals of fish. you could then add a couple more Cory and that would be it for your tank i think. The only way i would consider more is if i knew that the tank was being really well maintained and over filtered.

i'd swap out the 4 danios for some more harlequins and get one more cory. then i'd add just one dwarf or honey gourami (honey gouramis are difficult to find but are gorgeous little creatures).

alternatively, you could get a trio (1 male, 2 females) of red platies instead of the gourami. red platies are gorgeous but they're livebearers, so they'll make just as many babies as the danios.

just remember, 14g isn't very big, so you'll not want more than 10 small fish in it.

ahh this is much better i wana try some different species that are cool and intresting. oh and also my tank is 14 uk gallons so i think its bigger not much though
