My swordtail JUST had fry, at 9:00pm I went out and got a breeder cup when I saw the fry in the tank.I only got one now because I wasn't sure if my swordtail was pregnant or not.

Anyway,I have the Mom and the fry in the breeder cup.Is there a special temperature or anything I need the tank to beso that the fry survive?I'm new to breeding fish. This is my very first fish that had fry.I'm currently giving them food that is for livebearers, but is there something else I should be giving them?

Also, does anyone know how many fry they have, the first time?right now I have 10 fry.

feed them powderd fish flake.

you only need to keep the babys in the breeding box. when they get to 2-3 weeks old you can release them safely.

yes, there is one more.Is there anything special I need to do with them?besides putting them in the breeder cup?like a special temp?

Ok, I will. Again thank you :) .I know I sounded sort of stupid, but like I said this is my first fish that had fry -_-

i was the same way when i started breeding, now i have a minimum of 100 fry in my house at any time, its a rule. lol. im currently doing selective breeding on guppies, and doing some betta breeding.
