Could just be first time in that tankramesses said:My advice to anyone here who would like to really save the babies,is to isolate the parents,so the only problem they have to deal with are the babies.
If this is the first time,I assure you they won't survive.Simply 'cause parents need to go through this for about three times before they know what to do and not to eat their own.
So,be patient, keep the rams by themselves and make sure you have food for the babies.Whether is liquid baby food or frozen baby daphnia,or baby brine shrimp.
They actually wont lay anymore eggs until the babies are full grown or taken awaysnowyangel said:Congratulations on the offspring. My blue rams are breeding again as we speak, just my waters is too hard for the eggs to hatch. But i'm kind glad they don't b/c i have fertile rams who lays eggs every week so I would be over stocked in no time.
If my rams were to breed, some of the babies would stay with me in my community tank and the others would go to the lfs for store credit.Jae1525 said:What do you do with all the fish when they grow up?
