My Poor Tetra!

Hi all,

I have 6 neon tetras and one of them is swimming on its side for a while then sinking to the bottom and then swimming eraticaly again and then swimming on its side again..

I am currently treating my tank for ich ( white spot ) and it is the first evening, and I keep thinking should I put it out of its misery?

Well, i'm sorry to say that, I went to check him about 15 minutes ago, and he / she had died

I made sure it was completely dead by wrapping it in tissue and got a meat mallet..i dont usually get upset, but it was very sad..

How many fish and which type.
Water atats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

You say you are treating for whitespot have you halfed dosed as neon tetra can't always handle the full dose.
Have you increased aeration in the tank.
What do you normaly feed your fish?
