My Kribensis

I just wanted to show people my kribensis and see what people think of them as a fish as I love them
Here is both of them together

What size is that tank? It looks awfully small...

It's only a 40 litre but they are being moved into a 70 litre in a couple of weeks and the kribensis seem really happy in there and have tried to breed in there too.

I would say that even 70 litres is too small, especially if you're trying to breed. Its not uncommon for them to have a go at each other from time to time and if they're in such a small tank they'll have nowhere to go. Ideally you want a 3 foot tank or larger so they have a marked territorial area. Anything smaller and other fish will get terrorised at breeding time.

They were in a 110 litre tank but they we're killing everything in the tank which Is why I moved them to the smaller tank and if they do manage to breed I will remove the fry when they are old enough to a bigger tank.
