my interesting night

well today has been interesting to say the least. first off the weather man has been right for once in his life and we are getting something like 3-6 inches of snow tonight, and two I discovered the way to calm my agressive JD down a bit just wait till I go to bed. he stays on one side and my GT stays on the other and there is harmony in my tank for a while.

And snow??? YIKES!!!!!! The high here in my part of Texas was in the 80's.
Nananana ha ha! (J/K!) We don't see much white stuff here. If we get any kind of really cold weather precip, it come in the form of ice, not snow. And when that happens, I go NO WHERE!

well really my secret is to go to bed turn off all of the lights excpt our three way lamp which I keep on dim as my wife with her pregnacy usually gets up at about 3 to go to the bathroom so that she can see and for some reason they take that as a sign to calm down and leave each other alone, but during the day all bets are off as I usually think that the JD is the agressor I get a surprise and the GT turns out to be the aggressor. like today my JD wasn't bothering him just intently chewing on an algae disk that I put in there for the pelco and the GT came over and grabbed ahold of his tail and man I thought bert was going to bust the glass!!!! he went after him like the devil had posessed him

OMGoodness~! I can hardly wait till my GT is feeling all better and I put him back in his tank with the JD. The JD wasn't in there with him before so it should prove to be quite interesting!
Thats a cool idea about the night light. I have many of those currently and will definately remember to try that should the aggression seem to be getting out of hand.
When is your wife due? Do ya know if its a boy or a girl?


Oh yea, and did yall get the snow that was predicted? The high here today is going to be 83.

my wife is due in april and we don't know yet if it is a boy or girl but we are both hoping for a girl.

Don't know how I missed this all this time.

I wish we had 3-6" of snow here in Cleveland!!! Instead we set a record for the day with a temp of 79F.
