My 20 Gal

i have a 20 gal with 3 leopard coreys and 1bn plec.

if i uppedthe number ofcoreys to 6 and put my 2 rams from quaentine in there would 6-8 black widdow tetras work?

filtered with a fluval 105 and a sand substrate...

I would have either the 5 tetras and 5 corys or 2 rams and 5 corys... then it would be just the max you could have. Black widows get rather big when they are fully grown and my old ones used to love the run of a 55G tank.

just put the rams in the tank. They took to it very well. no color loss in themale and just a slight color loss in the female. Will buy 3 more coreys on te weekend.

do you think i could fit anything else in there? could a school of smaller tetras fit in the tank rather than the black widows i was advised against?

I would have a shoal of neons, lemon tetra, glowlights.. or something along that size. Even a shoal of Cardinals if you have the ££

they are relativly cheap by me £2 each

£1.10 near me but not all places are like that and neons are 10 for £5

Oh yes I would say 10 to make a nice shoal.. the rams wouldnt bother them at all, rams are very placid creatures and dont bother many a fish.

10 cardinals, 2 rams, a bristnose pleco, and 5-6 corys isn't overstocked for a 20g?
- i was planning something similar, but am unsure whether something similar to this would be overstocked.
