Murky water

I have had my tank almost fuly planted for about 4 days and the water is really getting murky. I used to have crystal clear water. Is this common in planted tanks?

Simple answer, No

Is this a new tank or have you done any other changes besides plants?

No this is a well established tank. The plants are the only new thing the water is greenish I guess

Hmm... could be algae bloom. Can you try doing a 30% water change and see if it reappears?

What plants do you have? And what are your water parameters? nitrates etc..

Do you have or have you considered getting a diatom filter? They work wonders for clearing algae blooms - crystal clear water in a couple of hours.

But you should find the cause of what caused the problem too. Your water parameters are a good start... did you add some plant food reciently (change your water chemistry) along with adding new plants?
