Murky Water Is Tiny White Bugs!

I've just quickly gone to have a look and there tiny tiny miniscule little things darting about on the glass! I noticed just the other day I had about 4 tiny little snails that must have come off plants: is it anything to do with them?

do a quick google search on planaria and see if that's what they are, they bloom when ammonia is high due to overfeeding.

they're definitely not those - they're not like worms, more like tiny tiny little shrimp looking things. I looked it up and it looks like they could be copepods...when I woke up this morning it had died right down so maybe the crabs sifted through them in the night?

Very odd.

Not totally sure.. but I'm guessing many smaller fish would relish cleaning that water up, if it is in fact copepods.
