I haven't actually kept mudskippers, but am looking forward to it. I have done a lot of reading, and asking questions. I have found that they are a good pet, not just a fish. Some report being able to hold them in your hand. They are a brackish fish. They need land, preferably more land masses than mudskippers to keep down aggression. Many people say that you need two males to see the beautiful coloration and flairing these guys are know for. I hope to have somewhere around 4 or 5 in a 40 gallon long. There are big ones and smaller ones, it just depends on which species you get. I think it will be really nice to get them. I just need to find the money and the space.

All donations will be accepted! :D

Now I am looking into setting up a mangrove swamp tank for

I have read that you cannot tell them apart until mature. And only then during his flareing to attract a female. I guess it's up to dumb luck?
