Congrats noshybabs! I moved mt tank not long ago and didn't lose any fish in the move. My problem now though is my water supply, Ph to be specific. Have you been lucky and managed to get a new house with a similar supply?

I moved last November about 40 miles away! I had to work right upto the last hour before I moved so in the end I had to empty half the water in the tank and strap the tank into the front seat of the van we hired to move and drive very carefully! Unfortuantely some A hole cut me up on the M3 and I lost some of the tank water to the nice clothed seats! If that wasn't stressy enough I then had to get loads of cleaning products to remove the slighty fishy smelling stain from the hire van!!!
However all fish survived their first motorway experience and the van hire company never asked why their van smelt like 6 bottles of Febreze?
The easiest way to move you tank is to empty as much of the water out you can, Bag all your fish, and bag the filter sponges in water aswell Its 10x easier and 100 times safer thanmoving your tank with water in it.
