Hi all,
I am new to this site but not new to fishkeeping. Basically i bought some albino barbs and had them in quarentine for 3 weeks. All signs good i added to the new tank 2 days ago. I woke up this morning to find one of the has a ripped tail and it being cloudy white ALSO it's mouth looks a little white and a little tiny bit fluffy. The other ones tail is fine but it's mouth also the same. All of my other fish are fine no probs at all (touch wood).
Just wondered if this could be the onset of mouth rot
I have never had to deal with mouth rot so not sure what it looks like although i have had fin rot before.
I have treated the tank with king british disease clear as it says fin rot and diseases like that. Do you think this should work.
I just do not know how it happened so quick.
My tank specs are all spot on and nowhere near overcrowded.
Thank you for any help and advice you may offer me
Tracey
Oh i also turned the temp up 2 degrees to 30c
