Hey,

I have recently decided to buy a pair of golden australe killifish for my 5 gallon and I am going to attempt to breed them, i have a couple of questions about them.

1. Is there anything they esspecially need in an aquarium?

2. Can the eggs remain unhatched out of water?

3. Do they need plants?

4. Can they live with ADFs happily or is it best to keep them on there own if they are breeding?

I understand there is a pinned topic on these fish but i cannot find the answers to these questions in there.

Thanks, orange shark

1. See pinned topic
2. They can be stored in damp peat and rewetted after some days. (how some breeders mail their eggs)
3. No (floating mops will suffice)
4. You say you wish to breed them so ADF's are out.

thanks, if i store them in damp peat will they not hatch until they are in water?
