So I have three red hook silver dollars in a 75 at the moment. Running two HOB filters with intake sponges. Parameters are pretty spot on as far as strip tests go. No high ammonia either. I had one of the silver dollars stop eating for a couple days then go into hiding mode in all areas of the tank and the other silver dollars started to pick at his tail a little bit then would stop. I woke up this morning to the biggest of the three fish completely gone. It’s the biggest mystery I’ve felt with so far. Also the silver dollar was acting like there’s is low oxygen but that’s not the case since there’s plenty of air stones.
Help would be much appreciated. Also the fish are about a year old.

what are your water conditions? do you mean no ammonia and nitrite when you say low ammonia?

A did a test and it showed zero ammonia yeah. Zero for nitrite and under 5 ppm for nitrate. Pretty soft water too.

Get a liquid test kit, the paper strip tests can be inaccurate, especially after they've aged...I suggest the API Freshwater Master Test Kit. As for the missing fish, is there any deco he/she could be hiding in/behind/under?

okay thank you. And no unfortunately, I’ve looked everywhere, he was a decent sized silver dollar, there’s no other explanation I can think of besides the other ones eating him over the night.

These are the only fish in the tank? No other critters?
Yes, he may have indeed been eaten, sadly...

Yep, and aggressive, too...you have to choose tankmates with care
