Melafix On Cut

Since adding melafix to treat my betta's cut, the water has gone a teeny bit cloudy

is this normal?

im not filtering the tank atm as the lil fella is a lil shaken up, so i didnt wana him fighting a current

I've never noticed ours going cloudy with melafix, but ours had filters running

its nothing major

i dont wana change the water untill the treatment is complete

poor sod has a cut, and Fantastia has torn fins from lfs

no foaming, just a teency bit cloudy, not alot

maybe its from the mushed pea i gave em?

pass, tested the water

PH 7.7
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10ppm

i mean its their 1st day in the tank so the water is good, the nitrate is a little high for me but all seems well

just got to wait another 5days b4 i can water change, as i cant change whilst treating

the melafix is working a treat on Nero's cut, and hes perked up alot this morning and he actually at something so fingers crossed

I've found the best thing for fish injuries is fresh water. I wouldn't skimp on the water changes, 50% daily & remed.

normally i would but its an open cut and im not risking infection on my betta
