Master Test Kit Question

I have been looking around for master test kits lately and just purchased one that tests the following...

pH
High Range pH
Ammonia
Nitrite
GH
KH

I recently seen some that test Nitrate instead of the GH and KH and was wondering which one is better. I still plan on buying the Nitrate Tester.

I personally have a master test kit for:

Ph low & high
Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate

I purchased this one as its whats important to my fish - they can all stand a varying degree of water hardness and so this is not important for me.

Seperate tests for GH & KH were later purchased for monitoring conditions for my plants more than anything.

Had i bought fish that were sensitive to certain hardness degrees etc, would have bought your test kit as you can generally keep the nitrate down low through regular water changes adn the water hardness would be more important to keep level.

yea i know what you mean. When i bought my kit I didn't notice at first it was for Gh and KH but it is better for me b/c i have discus and they can only take so much hardness in the water. thanks for the reply.
