I have had an MTS explosion in my tank. One day I noticed my substrate moving and out came a million of these little pests. Does anyone know of a way to get rid them organically, and if not naturally how would you all go about getting rid of them? I've tried picking them out one by one but i feel this is a losing battle.

Buy a puffer! Mine loves them although he flaps a bit when he passes the shells - yes honestly. I've got a separate tank now where they breed and I move some over from time to time. There seems to be a constant stream of people on here asking for them so maybe you could start a little sideline selling them. I don't reckon it'll do much for your retirement fund though!!! Can only just about keep up with mine so no chance of me selling any.
Other than that no ideas unless you want to try one of the concoctions from the shops I'm afraid.

Good luck :dunno:

Clown loaches sorted mine out - borrowed three small ones from a friend but now we have to wait until they grow a little because there are too many small places to hide in my tank and I don't fancy ripping my tank to bits to catch them since I have breeding Kribs and all sorts in there.
