Got 3 of the cutiest little corys last week and haven't stopped watching them since. They are the greatest little things and seemed to have perked up the entire tank.

I had went there after searching everywhere for panda corys and this fish guy said he had three left so I ran over and was dissapointed to see that there were actually spotted corys. I purchased them anyway cause they were cute too and got home to find he had given me two spotted and one stripped cory. They don't seem to notice their different though. They have settled in wonderfully and climb the walls every time I pass the tank.

I think I will purchase three or four for my guppy tank next. :)

Hi Missy, :D

Corys really are cute. No matter which ones you get you will find something special to like about them. And a good thing, too, is that while they are schooling fish and do need companions in the tank with them, they are very happy to be with any kind of cory. There is no discrimination among corydoras!

Inchworm,
I didn't know that any kind of corydoras cat would school with eachother. I thought the same type was best for them. But, I am really glad to hear that as mixing them up a bit is more fun anyway. :D

They are great, aren't they? I just love them! I got three of them a few weeks ago: an Albino, a Panda, and a Pepper. The place I got them at only had one Panda Cory. If there had been more Pandas, I probably would have gotten 'em. I still want to get more :) Yay for Corys! I want more!

Yay congrats on your new cories, I love em, all have so much character, mine like to play hide and seek amongst the java fern :p

In my experience, the corys get along within the different species but do tend to segregate a bit. I have two leopard corys and two peppered corys that do get along well but most of the time it's two and two rather than a group of 4. If I had it to do over again, I would have bought 4 of the same cause they look so cute swimming up and down together.
