Hi, if you all have time could you list peaceful longfin fish? Like the long fin rosy barb. Around that nature. Thankx in advance. :D

Hmm, well that is kind of a hard question to answer seeing that we don't know anything about your tank or what might possibly be in it. Do you have any more information?

That question is part of the reseach that you should of done before getting your fish :/

o.k. I asked because I have a longfin rosy barb and I am interested in the longfin variety more than the normal. And I like the lyretail molly.

Rosy barbs are shoaling fish so if you only have the one, you should try to increase its numbers to at least 6. How many gallons is your tank and what fish and how many do you already have?

55 gallon tank
2 regular female rosy barbs, 1 longfin female, 1 male regular
1 angelfish
3 rummy nose tetras......
2 albino cories, going to add more

This list is all the fish I am going to keep.

I would advise increasing your barb and tetra shoals to 10 each of their own kind, i think angelfish can be a bit nippy towards certain long fin varieties of fish,

I would also increase your number of cories to around5 or 6, and what kind of albino's are they? Albino Bronze, Albino Peppered, or Albino Sterbai?

I would get rid of the angels, get more barbs and more tetras like Tokis-Phoenix said, which reminds me I need to get some more tetras in my 33gal... oh and some more stock for ym 120gal... /me runs off to plan

this is not entirely true. even i on occasion still think hmmm...i would like something else in there but i dont know what. lack of research is only detrimental if the person buys all the fish before researching and then just puts them together. the question being asked now IMO is research.

with the list of fish you have there, there are lots of options and nothing has been upset by not doing your research as previously mentioned.

i do think the advice about getting rid of the angels is good. they can be nippy. if you want long fins how about guppies? they should fit well with what you have in there now.

EDIT> just thought i would add that i am not saying research is unecessary just in this case the 'bad' non research thing doesnt apply. he/she is only finding out what could fit in there now

Thankx, but I already have one male guppy, two females, one female molly, guppy and molly fry in my other tank.
