Live Plants Dp

well im starting up a new tank and nothings in there but wood rock and live plants, i was wandering if dp need live plants or if fake ones are ok because it seems like all of my live plants are dieing on me, and i dont care enuf to research how to save them unless i have to.

Where's the enthusiasm? You're supposed to care and do research for your tank! Live plants help with controlling chemical balances and can also help reduce algae levels in the water, and are a good addition to any tank.

...yeah i know, but i tend to be lazy and sooner or later ill forget something cause i wont care as much for the plants. but will they be fine without real plants?

Dwarf puffers will be fine with fake plants. At least you are a realist and know what you will and wont do.

like if the fish had to have special care, (i think feeding bloodworms is special care) i will do it as its actually something i want and has feelings, but a plant...if i wanted plants id have a garden. but thanks kewskills
