Can live food spike the water or cause infection, I read a lot on here about lots of different live food,in fact some have a better selection of food than me, what if some is not eaten, and does it produce more poop, I love my bacteria how will they cope......

i really doubt the amount of waste they produce would cause any bad impact on your tanks, but uneaten food that dies will be as bad as unetean frozen or flakes etc

As for disease, as long as you have a nice clean culture it should be fine, but if your buying live food then its that bit more dangerous

As long as you don't collect from anywhere that has fish living there, it's quite safe.

It's exactly the same as dried foods with regards to uneaten/poop issues; it won't make fish poop more (although bloodworm is slightly laxative) and all uneaten food can cause water quality issues; live food won't until it's dead, of course, but it should all have been eaten by then.

Buy some frozen food from your LFS then :good:
