I heard i could put 2 kribs in my 30 gal with black skirts and black phantomes and corys and blood fins and neons, and glasfish and algea eater all in one tank. I really wann get some kribs but im not sure if they can go with them.

Well for a start, when I had kribs they ate all my neons before I realised what was going on. Those are the only tetras I've kept, so I'm not sure how they'd treat your other tetras. My cories were fine, but needed places to hide when the kribs started breeding.

ooooooh! dont put kribs in with neons. we made that mistake & the kribs had a wonderful time - neons for brekfast, neons for lunch, neons for tea!!! took us a while to work out the culprits till we caught them in the act :(

I really want to get kribs so im gonna move my neons and put them in my 10 gal with my runny nose tetra and some other really beutiful colorful fish. :D and ive heard kribs are a good starting fish for starting a cichlid fish. Ive always had charcins. once in a while i got some cyniprids.

Good idea to move the neons. Kribs were the first cichlids I had and they're still one of my favorites. :) Just don't keep any delicate plants (or fish) with them, for they will disappear quickly.

good idea, we loved our kribs - they were a breeding pair & very very colourful & brilliant to watch real characters, but unfortunately as they were eating the other inhabitants we had to make a decision on what stayed & what went & they went, we would have loved to have put them in another tank but our flat is tooooo small, maybe in the future in a bigger house we'll have some more in another tank. :D
