so i saw some knight gobys and feel in love with them so i brought them home i have them in a low brakish tank and they are healthy but i want to keep them that way whats the best diet for them ( i heard they need some veggies with there meat)

I have had mine at for a year now and they seem happy to eat pretty much anything, i give them flake and carnivor pellets, they also loke bloodworms, brine shrimp etc. i doubt very much if you are going to have problem feeding them.

My Knights spwaned on regular occasions in my tank. I fed them a mixture of bloodworm, tubifex, brine shrimp, cockle and mussel (stole it from the puffer), catfish pellets and carnivore pellets (intended for the cat sharks) and peas on an occasion.

alright next question what does it look like when your gobys are about to spawn becouse ither mine are going to or there going to hurt each other ( they swim in a littl circle nipping at each other ( no damage yet )

and yeah no problem feeding ( they will eat out of the puffers mouth ( almost literaly ) but they seem to be happy little meat eaters

I have little caves etc. for mine, however none of the fry survive as other fish in there eat them. mine tend not to nip each other now as they have matured they have obviously settled who is boss etc.. hopefully yours will settle down soon.

i have plenty of stuff to hide under next to and even on and i guess you cna say they calmed down a bit well actualy one of mine decided he didnt like the java moss he was hideing in and chocked one it ( although comidic to come in and see my goby haveing a huge chunk of plant sticking from his mouth i must say i was distressed to find him not breathing) the other seems sad but fine
