Hi Fishlover

Kissing fish can be very difficult I really dont recomend them for you. Especially If u have those fish in ur sig. Kissing fish are very agressive especially to others and its own kind. Kissing fish are not really jumpers but hat depends on the personality of the fish. I myself got two kissing gouaramis in my 55 gallon But i struggle since they like to fight with other fish and they love to chase other fish. I think I suggest u get other kinds of fish like dwarfs or moonlights. Monnlights I suggest cause they look so charishful when there togethere. But if u really want kissing fish I suggest u get 1 only so it wont pick on another fish. HTH

yeah, kissing gourami probably won't fit into your tank too well, dwarf or maybe even pearl will suit you better

I have 2 kissing gouramis in my tank. They have never picked on any other fish in the tank. I have little baby guppies in the tank too, and they have never even chased them. But, it probably depends on the personalities of the fish. Maybe I was just lucky to get these 2. :D

Kissing Gouramis can be aggressive but usually if they are brought at a younger age and live in a community tank they aren't, I personally have one that is very peaceful with all other fish. It is best just to get one or be certain that you have a male and female as two males will lip lock and fight maybe even injuring each other which may lead to death (hence the name Kssing Gourami). The other problem with Kissers is their size, they can reach between 8-12 inches IME the higher range of 10-12 is the most likely so unfortunatly they are to big for your tank. :)

nope i will be keeping them by themselves in my 55g. i have done research on them and i think that i can keep them together but i just wanted to know about how many of them i could keep in there

Ok if thats the case then u could keep 2 or 4 so they wont pick on other then themselves. HTH.
