Juwel Rio 400 Heater With No Numbers?

My Juwel Rio 400 heater has no numbers just a plus and minus sign. The orange light stays on regardless of where I set the dial. Any ideas what I should set it to or why the orange light stays on all the time even on the lowest setting. Tank temp is 26ish.

I am assuming you know the temperature from a thermometer in your tank this is the only real way of knowing the set temperature from heaters with no numbers

The light could stay on because you have the heater in the direct flow of the filter so it's constantly getting cooler water, or maybe it's too near the surface, or maybe your tank is next to a radiator so the temperature never has the opportunity to stay constant.

If you are concered about it buy another heater with numbers written on...problem solved!!!

Lol thanks, I took the heater out in the end because I had to go out so I replaced it with a smaller one for now.
