i decided to add baking soda 1/4 of a teaspoon at a time and measure the results slowly. I added the first 1/4 last night and the second this morning, when i got how i measured the PH And KH level of my tank

here were the before
KH - 2
PH - 6.5 - 7 ( the colors are kinda close )

after two 1/4 teaspoons of baking soda
KH - 4
PH - still the same i think 6.5 - 7.0 because the color is still kinda similar :(

im stumped still with my c02 levels, i just added another 1/4 of a teaspoon and gonna wait for around 5 hours before i measure the levels again :)

BTW 4 KH and 6.5 is really bad around 36PPM of c02, but my fish look normal and swimming about and not suffocating really.

WOAH!!! how'd you get 36ppm of CO2. You must have done something since we last exchanged PMs. No wonder you're so concerned about your kh and ph now. :p

im not sure about my c02 level you see :) i think its more of 14 rather then 36, the problem is with the ph readings, its not so accurate :(

woah, 14 and 36, huge diff, nearly twice as large. So you confirmed that it was your test kit that was the problem, did you bring some water to the lfs or sth, what did you do?

well unfortunately i am yet to find an LFS willing to test the water for me, im still looking for hobbyist around and also water distilling places ( hehe they have electronic ones )

i tested my water again and the results are
KH - 5
PH - 70-7.5

so upon analyzing my previous results and looking at the health of my fishes im concluding my PH to be roughly 7.3 now
im not sure if im doing this correctly but

with KH 2 my c02 was in between 6.5 - 7 so im thingking its somewhere 6.8 so my c02 would be around 10 PPM

at 4 KH it was at around 6.5 -7 also and with a small increase in KH i think the PH would increase also a little so around 7.1 which would make my c02 to around 10 still

at 5 KH i think my PH would rise a little bit only to around 7.2 - 7.3 which would make my c02 levels still at 10,

well im just concluding stuff!!! somebody tell me if im guessing too much

well i assume my c02 to be 10 and not the higher value because my fish arent really going bonkers right now :p but it could be higher or lower still, i need a really really really accurate PH test now :( o well
