For those who are unfamiliar with Ebo foods, they are in Germany and I usually do a big order every year. This time I was a smaller order at $464.82. I got:

Shimp Sticks 6 mm / 1 kilo
Veggie Sicks 4mm / 1 Kilo
Mussel Softegran 1.8 mm / 1 Kilo
Mussel Sticks 6 mm / 350g
Artemia Softgran 0.9 - 1.4 mm / 350 g
Artemia Softgran 0.4 - 0.6 mm / 75 g (for fry)
Snail Sticks 50 g (for my assassins)
Garnelenstick Shrimp Sticks Premium Shrimp Food 50 g (for Neo davidi and maybe amanos?)

The snail and shrimp foods are my first time buying them. The rest I have used for a few years now. The make a sponge based food good for zebras. Unfortunately, all my zebras were gone by the time I learned about this food :(

1 kilo - 2.2 pounds
75 gm = 2.645 ounces
350 gm = 12.35 ounces

Of the cost $12.99 was the shipping and $35.91 was the estimated taxes which may increase. The food comes to my PO box at the local Post Office and I have to pick it up.

Because by the time I run out again I will be down to between 0 and 2 smaller tanks. I have been on this trajectory for a few years now. I have shut down almost 1/2 my tanks. I am down to just one species of pleco I breed and that us only three 33L tanks- 2 are for grow out. I am down to only one six foot tank having had the 150 leak and it went to the dump.

I just got too old to keep up with all the tanks. So I could no longer take care of all the fish properly and I had to downsize. For almost 25 years I have done weekly maint. and water changes. Due to the house layout and no basement, I cannot have a central fish room. Tanks are spread across two building and 4 or 5 rooms when I was still doing extra summer tanks. I did my last vendor room at the 2023 KeyStone Clash.

I am about to turn 78 and my theme song is Old Folks Boogie by Little Feat with the line:
"And you know that you're over the hill
When your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill."

I hope by the end of this year to be down to about 5 or 6 tanks. My problem is my favorite tank is the 125 gal. with clown loaches and redline barbs. I have to use a 3 step ladder to work in the tank. I also use if for the in-wall 75 gal. Old people tend to fall off ladders and this usually results in broken bones. Old age sucks, but we are lucky to make it there.
