Just Bought New Tank! Few Options..........

right just bought new tank it is 17 uk gallons (24x14x14)

just wanna get opinions on what to do....my choices


1 - barb tank (love my current barbs so will have tank of just barbs, green tiger/tiger/albino/cherry) with a few corys too

2 - this idea nicked from recent post but liked it..........albino tank or my version which is black and white tank, fish like panda corys/albino corys etc etc

3 - peaceful community tank.....by that i mean only placid calm fish get in there!!!

OR any other ideas

one more question as i am still new to this, if i do a water change in my larger tank can i use that water t start off my smaller tank???

i also have 2 internal filters running in my large tank so if i put this in the smaller one also how long would it need to be left before i put fish in it?

Yeah i can put one of the filter straight in there. has been in larger tank for about a month is this enough to build up bacteria?

Also i want to put a blue lobster(crayfish) in there is it big enough?

bearing in mind i will end up with ALOT bigger tank in future as it grows....

HAHA 80's were good! i grew up then!

Well i have bought the tank (got it 2nd hand) and it came with balck gravel!! so i think that this has made me mind up.

although i am gonna add 2 or 3 colourful fish like one of my neon gouramis think it will look good in there.
