Jumbo Black Phantom Tetras

Anyone had these? I just got a few, Going to swap over from emperor to these.
 

 
Of course they've lost there colour due to transport and stress.
 
Also got my Pearls I was after.

Those phantoms must be pretty old to be that size! Did they have many in? Phantoms are great though Funny characters and easy to sex as the females have red ventral fins underneath.

Am quite happy with my perals, I told him to get 2 females and 1 male. Weather or not he did am not sure.
 
They had a lot of Phantoms in stock but he said he had a lot of males. So I may have a lot of males in there, Am going to rehome my emperor as I love the looks of these Phantoms. I mean there big guys and they were all the samesize in the shop. Like 20 of them, They don't call them jumbo for no reason, Maybe a new breed?

mostly likely just because of their size.  The store I go to uses "jumbo" for most adult or really large fish.  Last time I was there they had Jumbo Harlequin Rasbora for sale which were almost 2 inches long

Yep, will just mean they are older than you normally see them in shops maybe ex breeding stock or just excess stock that didn't sell etc. They do all look male though.
 
Cant see the third pearl but the two facing camera are both girls
