Jewel Cichlids

There is alot of ways animals can kill eatchother lol. but these fish are just plain evil! they would eat the eyes of there victums. from my own expieriences over the past year of trying to keep these fish that they are probably the most agressive. are there any other cichlids that can be kept in the same tank as these guys? or are they best kept in species tanks? I had a highschool teacher that had a breeding pair in a 20 gallon long tank. that tank was SOOO overcrowded they would just breed & breed & breed. lol he couldnt give those things away!

Really? I've had luck before with Jewel Cichlids in a community tank that had guppies in it. I didn't put them in the tank to begin with, my brother bought them thinking they'd look nice, I saw them about a week after I got home from vacation (he got them while I was away for 2 weeks in florida) and I wasn't missing a single fish... odd... guess it just depends on the Jewel...
