I was trying to save some money and make it easier to light my hexagon tank and it's just so hard to light it. I really didn't want to have to build my own hood but it seems to be the best way to go so I finally ordered the 17.5" lighting from AHSupply and 2 6700K 36W Full spectrum bulbs. So I'll be getting them in a few days. Then I just have to build the hood which shouldn't be too hard.

Yah, I can't wait to get the sooner the better. I'd like to get it before christmas but we'll see.. I ordered it yesterday so there is a small chance I could get it by then. It is coming from Rochester NY, and I live in New Jersey so who knows.

o ya, just from experience make your canopy fire proof immediately !! spend on the safety make sure you get good ballast and keep em away from moisture if your gonna use ballasts anyway hehe a small friendly tip
