I have a 10 gallon tan, i was wondering if this is overstocking and would they all get along, thanks

2x red wag platy
2x sunset platy
2x fancy guppie
1x betta
A few ghost shrimp

The betta would probably chase the guppys around so I would rehome those if possible, otherwise as long as you have a good filter and do regular changes I think you should be ok

I wouldn't get any females if you are getting Platys in a 10 gallon tank, you'll be soon over run with babies!

Oh really. I heard somewhere that bettas do well with other fish, but it would be fine if i kept the guppies and got rid of the betta

And jay, ya. They are all live bearers almost. So ill be very careful with the gender

Bettas can be a bit hit and miss. Some will do great with other fish, others need to be in their own tank as they will attack anything. Guppies are very risky though as they can mistake the bright finnage of a guppy to be another male betta fish! Its up to you whether you choose to remove the guppies or the betta from your stock list.

Idk i will have 2 orange fish, 2 red fish, 2 crazy colored fish. I dont know what color would look good with them. Maybe the yellow from the honey gourami. Any other ideas.
