As title states I think that my female guppy (who's given birth 2x in the 30 days I've had her) might have early signs of finrot. Her tail doesn't look as rounded as before (like the others)..it used to look like this: ) but now it looks more like this: / but slightly curved (more at top than bottom ..no longer even), if you know what I mean.

Here is the best pic I could get.

She doesn't stay still so it's hard to see if there's a prob or if it's just the angle of view and my paranoia.

I have myxazin and interpet finrot/fungus no. 8 as well if you think she does have something.

BTW, she's the greyish/silver one in the pics!!

Many thanks

Nikki :)

I wanted a fancy background but my 5 yr old disappeared for ages when I was setting tank up and came back later with this ....she was so proud of her work I haven't got the heart to change it lol.

At least it's unique!!!

Oh, I hadn't considered the tetras...I thought neons didn't do this but.....

As I'm fish in cycling due to ignorance and bad lfs advice I really worrry about my fish and spend ages watching them,...how sad am I??...I even find myself sitting in front of tank watching them and missing my fav tv progs!!!
I guess I've got bitten badly with the fish bug !!!

So do I use meds to help heal or not?? The meds I have available are: myxazin, protozin (both by waterlife), interpet no.8 fungus/finrot and something called eSHa 2000 fungus, finrot and bacteria treatment it says it treats wide range(18+) of probs, heals wounds and protects skin.

Nikki :)

PS..aren't they beautiful guppies, the silvery one is my favourite :D
