Is There A Difference?

Is there a difference between a Uv Clarifier and a Uv Steriliser?
If so what are they as im looking to buy 1 for my fish tank.

Actually there can be a difference.
The gap around the uv glass is larger on a clarifier as it just kills algae & the gap is tighter around the steriliser to kill pathogens.
